Success Traits of the Wealthy

This past weekend I attended a motivational seminar focused on the power of persuasion, profit, and passion. The seminar reminded me that success principles are universal no matter who you listen to.

One of the key success principles is the power for the mind. What do I mean? For wealth individuals, the power of the mind manifests itself in the fom of vision & imagination as well as taking action (aka execution).

Let’s take this one step further by applying it to a recent, real life example. Earlier in the week Google announced its plan to acquire YouTube, a consumer media company enabling people to share videos over the Internet for $1.65 billion.

What does this have to do with the power of the mind? First, the two founders of Google certainly exhibited the trait I just described. After all, the playing field already was dominated by other search engines such as Yahoo! Did this stop the two founders from building a better search engine?

You Tube is another example. The two young founders developed a service that financial analysts believe still has yet to make a profit. Yet their vision and execution were the keys to their success.

So, if you want to be wealthy, remember it starts with you and your mind. Here’s to your wealth and success!
