Scams to Avoid This Holiday

I just read a timely article by Gerri Williams of CNN, “Tricky Scams to Avoid This Holiday”.

Of the suggestions, I believe the one that is the most relevant is to avoid re-entering your information online.  As more and more people shop online instead of fighting the crowds at retailers, scam artists will be on the prowl for ways to capture your personal information.

The other one that caught my attention are charity scams.  During this season of giving, it’s easy to prey upon those feeling especially generous.  Exercise caution and here’s to your financial fitness!
